X-Frame DR

The X-FRAME DR X-ray system is a family of modern, digital radiographic units manufactured by the Italian company Italray – a manufacturer with over 40 years of history. Depending on needs, the X-ray tube in the X-Frame DR system is mounted on a universal ceiling suspension or a floor column. X-FRAME DR is a system based on modern digital detectors – stationary or mobile and wireless. The unit is intended, among other things, for chest examinations in traumatology, general radiography, and orthopedic radiography. The flat digital detectors used, with their high sensitivity and dynamic range, genuinely reduce the doses absorbed by the patient while simultaneously improving image quality, enabling the visualization of anatomical structure details that are not possible on traditional analog films or with the indirect CR technique. The graphical user interface was designed with the operator's needs in mind. The icon layout is simple and intuitive.

The correct acquisition of distance images is ensured by a multifunctional Bucky stand with motorized height adjustment and a tiltable top. Automatic movements facilitate patient positioning and centering of the tube along the detector axis. The ability to motorize the table top through 90⁰ horizontally facilitates correct positioning for images on the mobile table and the placement of the AEC chambers along the patient regardless of positioning.

The electronics of the acquisition station are enclosed in a special, dedicated housing that is passively cooled. This completely eliminates the noise generated by fans. In addition, dust does not get inside, as it would with a standard cooled station. The system is operated using a 24-inch touchscreen monitor and a special console with a keyboard. A floating-top table with adjustable height (BTE) is provided for standard procedures. The BTE table can be lowered to a height of 55 cm, which is optimal for easy access to the tabletop (especially for elderly and disabled patients).

The tube mounting  is  based  on  a floor  column (X-Frame DR2S model) or a ceiling suspension (X-Frame DR2T model). The floor column moves on rails not  integrated  with  the  table, which  allows  for versatile configuration relative to the table's placement. With the X-Frame DR2T model, positioning is facilitated by a ceiling suspension with a wide range of movement in 3 directions.
